London to Brighton Cycle Ride – September 2011

Eight volunteers - Jo Horton, Tamsyn Doel, Nick Clifford, Tiffer Ellis, Thomas Dunmur, Jocelyn Chappell, Mark Beckett and Anthea Cass – set off at 8:30am on Sunday 11th September 2011 from South London to cycle 54 miles to Brighton. Despite a few punctures and A LOT of hills. They all had arrived at Hove Beach by 3pm, a little tired but cheerful. To date £2,500 has been raised from this event.

This was a fun challenge and we have already had a volunteer to take part next year. If you are also interested in taking part please do not hesitate to contact us. No previous experience is required, however preparation for this event is highly recommended. With a bit of training completing this event should be easy. The spirit of the event is taking part, not winning, so you can go as fast or slow as you like.
