Work Completed on Sensory Room

September 2005 saw the completion of the new multi-sensory room in the "Wing" respite care unit for children with special needs. The children who use the multi-sensory room are already finding it very stimulating, with lots of soothing sounds and coloured lights.

The creation of the multi-sensory room has been possible thanks to the generosity of C.Brewers & Sons, suppliers of decorating materials, who kindly donated £10,000. Also, we were delighted to receive £3,000 from the Buckinghamshire Masons Centenary Fund, and a further £1,000 donation came from the Aylesbury Town Council.

The multi-sensor room was officially opened on Saturday 8th October 2005 by the Mayor of Aylesbury, Cllr. Denise Summers.
