DDS Farewell £12,000 Cheque to CHAT

The Defence Dental Services (DDS) presented a cheque for £12,000 to CHAT at a special ceremony held in the gardens of the Wing Unit on Monday 3rd September 2007.

CHAT president Raj Kahn accepted the presentation cheque from Lt. Cdr Brian Chittick of the Defence Dental Services (DDS) at RAF Halton for £12,000. The fundraising team had achieved this amount by holding coffee mornings, hosting two Crazy Race nights, a Ceilidh (Scottish dancing evening) a 500 mile sponsored march and half marathon runs, as well as
the London Flora Marathon, during the last
18 months whist CHAT was their nominated charity.

Guests included Brigadier Pretsell, Head of DDS, the Town Mayor, Cllr. Jenny Puddefoot, Liz Geldard, Head of Special Children's Services, and parents of some of the children attending the Wing Unit.
