Beds for
Wing Unit

Darren Evans of HBOS kindly organised a special HBOS & CHAT golf day at Mentmore in which over 40 golfers took part in competiton on the 14th May 2008, ending with a prize giving event in the evening.

The money raised on the day, which was match funded by HBOS, together with other fundraising events during the months before hand bought in a staggering £3,342.68.

This allowed CHAT to fund the purchase of three brand new Electric Beds, at a cost of £2,622, for children at the Wing Unit respite care centre.

The remaining monies raised will be going to other improvements at the wing unit, such as replacement blinds etc.
