CHAT is a registered charity, which was set up to support children in Buckinghamshire from 0 to 19 years who have individual healthcare needs.
CHAT raises money to provide:
- additional equipment, for which there is no NHS funding for children who attend The Sue Nicholls Centre in Aylesbury for therapies such as speech and language, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.
- paediatric nurses and specially trained carers for additional respite nursing care for children with complex health needs. This enhances the lives of the sick children and their families by supplementing the health care already provided by the parents.
If you’d like to find out more about the support we provide and how you can help, please visit our Can you help page or call us on 01296 564105.
You can help us improve the quality of life for families with children who have complex needs by becoming a volunteer, a trustee, a friend of CHAT or by simply making a donation. Your help will make a difference.
